Out of Hours

If you have an urgent medical problem which will not wait until the surgery is next open, you have the following options:

1. Ring NHS Direct on 0845 46 47.
2. Ring Northern Doctors (the out of hours service) direct on 0300 123 1851. This service is independent of the surgery and you will not have access to your usual GP. Services include advice from a nurse practitioner or seeing a GP. In exceptional circumstances, a home visit may be offered.
3. If you ring the surgery (01287 619611) when the surgery is closed, you will hear a recorded message giving you Northern Doctors number. You will then have to redial.
4. If appropriate, please ring 999.
