Patient Participation Group

• We are currently in the process of convening a “Patient Participation Group”, to take on the mantle of the now defunct “Friends of Springwood Surgery” group.
• It is anticipated that this group will meet monthly, or possibly bi-monthly, to act as a discussion forum and task force, addressing issues of mutual interest for the practice and its patients.
• This group will NOT be a fundraising group, although fundraising/charitable activities could be discharged by the group at some stage in the future as an entirely separate entity.
• We are currently seeking expressions of interest from patients who would be willing to participate in the setting up and running of this group.
• Previous experience of “Committee work” is by no means essential and we are eager to ensure that a broad cross section of our patient population is represented.
