11/06/06 Race for Life

A team of 9 doctors and staff from the surgery took part in the Race for Life, the UK's biggest women only fundraising event, on Sunday 11th June at South Park in Darlington. Together with 4000 other women and children of all ages, the surgery team successfully completed the 5km race.

As well as being supported by family, friends and other members of staff, the surgery team were generously supported by the patients of the surgery. To date, we have raised £387 and are still collecting sponsorship money in. We would like to thank the patients of Springwood Surgery for their generosity and for helping us raise money for this worthy cause.

The staff are already looking forward to taking part in next year's race!
