31/03/07 Dr David Hobkirk retiring
We are sorry to announce that Dr David Hobkirk will be retiring from the practice on Wednesday 18th April, having practised medicine in Guisborough for over 30 years.
Dr Hobkirk leaves with our warmest wishes for the future, although we are not letting him escape entirely as he will, on occasion, be returning to undertake locum work for us.
However, we are pleased that a new full time partner will be joining us from Wednesday 25th April, Dr Kathikeyan Shanmugam.
Dr Shanmugam strongly believes in a holistic approach to patient care and enjoys all aspect of medicine. His clinical interests in particular include Care of the elderly, Men's Health, ENT, Paediatrics and Psychiatry. He is experienced in dealing with Tropical diseases and is interested in offering health related travel advice. Away from Medicine, Karthik loves walking on the moors and cricket.
We are greatly looking forward to the arrival of Dr Shanmugam and look forward to working with him.
